The AOCR 2020 Organising Committee offers Education Scholarship for 100 Young Radiologists and Young Researchers.

Congress Registration & Accommodation

Successful Youth Education Scholarship recipient will receive free congress registration and shared accommodation for 3 nights at selected hotel.

EVALUATION

All applications must be evaluated by a special Review Committee based on abstract review scores and financial needs.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Radiologists, Radiology Trainees, Master Trainees, Residents, Researchers.
  • Age less than 40 years old on 31st December 2020.
  • Abstract accepted for Oral, E-Poster, Live E-Poster Presentations.

Applicants who received other source of funding for AOCR 2020 will not be eligible for this scholarship. If an applicant received an offer from other sources of funding after the application of this scholarship, the applicant must write to the secretariat to withdraw from the scholarship application so that the opportunity can be given to other candidates.

APPLICATION

  1. Create account at aocr2020.com
  2. Submit your abstract(s) on the Abstract Submission page
  3. Fill up the required details and attach the following information on the Education Scholarship page:-
    • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • Photograph
    • Letter from Head of Department of your institution confirming your position in the department
    • Date of birth
    • Passport Expiry Date (only for international applicants)
  4. Application needs to be completed before 15th February 2020 via the online application. Offline application will not be accepted.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The results of the Youth Education Scholarship will be announced after 15th April 2020.
  2. Successful applicants will be required to pay an administrative fee of USD 50 by the 15th May 2020. The payment can be made online at the congress website.
  3. If the congress does not receive your complete payment and registration by 15th May 2020, the Organising Committee will take it that you are not attending. The scholarship then will be given to the next deserving candidate.
  4. All scholarship recipients must attend all 3 days of the congress. They must also present their Oral / E-Poster / Live E-Poster Presentations and attend the Closing Ceremony.
  5. This Education Scholarship is non-transferable. If the scholarship recipient could not attend the meeting after accepting the scholarship, they must write to the secretariat before 15th May 2020. The scholarship will be given to the next deserving candidate. This Education Scholarship does not include Pre-Congress Masterclass fees.
  6. The Organising Committee have the rights to withdraw the Young Radiologist Education Scholarship without advance notice in the event of extenuating circumstances beyond their control.
  7. The Review Committee’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be made by the reviewer in relation to their decision.
